Psychotherapy | Portuguese and English
Psychotherapy is a valuable tool for promoting self-awareness, overcoming emotional challenges, and developing skills to deal with life’s adversities. By providing a safe and supportive space, it allows people to better understand their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, strengthening their ability to make decisions and build healthy relationships. More than just treating problems, psychotherapy is an investment in well-being and quality of life.
Approach

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) focuses on the interconnection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT is a form of therapy that aims to identify and modify negative thought patterns, helping people develop healthier strategies for coping with emotional and behavioral challenges. With this approach, I aim to promote positive and lasting changes in people's lives.
Who I Am
Hello! :)
My name is Suellen Dias da Silva. I am from Florianópolis, SC – Brazil, a beautiful island full of beaches and natural beauty. I grew up and graduated in this charming city, which can give you an idea of my profile. Before and during my degree, I explored the world a little. I have lived in countries such as Australia and the United States, where I had the opportunity to meet people from different cultures, languages and customs. This experience brought me closer to a global network of friends, colleagues and clients, something I love! At the same time, I understand how challenging it can be to adapt to new places, languages, climates and people. These experiences helped me build the path that led me to the profession that I love so much and in which I see such positive results in people's lives.
I have a degree in Psychology from the University of Southern Santa Catarina. I have specializations in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Neuropsychology, and Couples Therapy and Counseling. My experience includes providing services to children, adolescents, adults, seniors, and families. I have also worked in the Brazilian public health service (SUS) and was the coordinator of social assistance (CRAS). These experiences have taught me a lot, especially about the challenges that families face throughout their lives.
I am a calm, approachable person who is open to talking about any subject. I deeply value empathy and respect in my relationships with my clients. I seek to build a connection based on sincerity and objective communication, so that we can move forward together towards our therapeutic goals.
